
Week 14 - July 12 - July 19, 2024
During our fourteenth and final week on East Limestone Island, volunteers will be involved in the following tasks and activities:
Rare plants survey
Invasive plant plots
Pigeon Guillemot foraging project
Camp shut-down - extra packing, carrying, and boat-loading work.
All volunteers will work alongside our Biologist and Assistant Biologist/Interpreter, who will provide training and expertise.

Week 13 - July 5 - July 12, 2024 (this week is now full)
During our thirteenth week on East Limestone Island, volunteers will be involved in the following tasks and activities:
Laskeek Bay Black Oystercatcher survey
Wildlife Tree monitoring
Pigeon Guillemot foraging project
Sea survey
Rare plants survey
Vegetation plots monitoring
All volunteers will work alongside our Biologist and Assistant Biologist/Interpreter, who will provide training and expertise.

Week 12 - June 29 - July 5, 2024 (this week is now full)
During our twelfth week on East Limestone Island, volunteers will be involved in the following tasks and activities:
Laskeek Bay Black Oystercatcher survey
Rare plants survey
Wildlife trees monitoring
Vegetation plots monitoring
Invasive plants
All volunteers will work alongside our Biologist and Assistant Biologist/Interpreter, who will provide training and expertise.
Please note that this is an intense week: the hours are longer than other weeks, with a lot of getting in and out of boats onto rugged, slippery shorelines.

Week 11 - June 21 - June 28, 2024 (this week is now full)
During our eleventh week on East Limestone Island (ELI), volunteers will be involved in the following tasks and activities:
Sea Surveys
Rare Plants survey
Wildlife Tree monitoring
All volunteers will work alongside our Biologist and Assistant Biologist/Interpreter, who will provide training and expertise.

Week 10 - June 14 - June 21, 2024 (this week is now full)
During our tenth week on East Limestone Island (ELI), volunteers will be involved in the following tasks and activities:
GWGU colony census
Wildlife trees monitoring
Rare plants surveys
Blowdown photo points; photo documentation of regeneration in natural forest blowdown
Beach debris surveys
All volunteers will work alongside our Biologist and Assistant Biologist/Interpreter, who will provide training and expertise.
Week 9 - June 7 - June 14, 2024 (this week is full)
During our ninth week on East Limestone Island, volunteers will be involved in the following tasks and activities:
Ancient Murrelet chick monitoring
Wildlife trees monitoring
Sea Survey
Rare Plants
Wildlife Tree Sweep of East Limestone Island
All volunteers will work alongside our Biologist and Assistant Biologist/Interpreter, who will provide training and expertise.

Cassin’s Auklet colony census
Rare Plants survey
All volunteers will work alongside our Biologist and Assistant Biologist/Interpreter, who will provide training and expertise.

Week 7 - May 24 - May 31, 2024 (this week is now full)
During our seventh week on East Limestone Island, volunteers will be involved in the following tasks and activities:
ANMU chick monitoring
Assist with school groups who are participating in our Project Limestone program
Wildlife tree monitoring
Sea surveys
All volunteers will work alongside our Biologist and Assistant Biologist/Interpreter, who will provide training and expertise.

Week 6 - May 17 - May 24, 2024 (this week is now full)
During Week 6 on East Limestone Island, volunteers will be involved in the following tasks and activities:
Assist with school groups who are participating in our Project Limestone program,
ANMU chick monitoring
Songbird point counts
Tree growth (deer browsing effect)
Wildlife tree monitoring
All volunteers will work alongside our Biologist and Assistant Biologist/Interpreter, who will provide training and expertise.

Week 4 - May 3 - May 10, 2024 (this week is now full)
During Week 4 on East Limestone Island, volunteers will be involved in the following tasks and activities:
ANMU chick funnels
Wildlife trees
Songbird point counts
PIGU SNBox setup
All volunteers will work alongside our Biologist and Assistant Biologist/Interpreter, who will provide training and expertise.

Week 5 - May 10 - May 17, 2024 (this week is now full)
During Week 5 on East Limestone Island, volunteers will be involved in the following tasks and activities:
ANMU chick monitoring
Project Limestone - assist with local school groups and activities
Wildlife tree monitoring
Sea Survey

Conducting at-sea surveys and marine mammal counts & monitoring,
Inventorying rare and invasive plants & removing invasive plants
Removing debris from Laskeek Bay,
Closing up camp!
